Summer Programs

MBT SUMMER INTENSIVE

Three sessions May 27  through June 13

 

At Metropolitan Ballet Theatre's Summer Intensive program, ballet technique is emphasized along with studies in character interpretation, strengthening, jazz and modern.

After an audition, students ages 9 – 18 are given the opportunity to train with world-renowned master teachers, Maniya Barredo and Luis Gonzalez.

 

Classes will consist of ballet technique, pointe, variations, modern, jazz, pilates/gyrotonics, and ballet history/tech.

 

WEEK 1: May 27 to May 31
WEEK 2: June 2 to June 6

WEEK 3: June 9 to June 13
*Daily schedule will run from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Students may audition by appointment or send a video (including combinations at the barre, center and pointe if applicable) to mbt@metropolitanballet.org.  Call the school registrar to set a time: 678-297-2800.
